See You Next Tuesday was founded and operates in Toronto, Canada, and is a proud Canadian operation. Our founder and many past and present contributors were Canadian students themselves. We understand the struggle and limitations of getting your work published.

When students write for a public audience, they don't just craft words; they tune their narrative to the heartbeat of society. At SYNT we want to amplify young Canadian voices. We want to help Canadian students find their stage, both at home and on a global front. We are happy to help Canadian students publish their writing and continue to push for the development of creativity and arts here in Canada.

At SYNT, we're not just a publication; we're a movement. We’re inspired by out-of-the-box thinking that challenges norms and sparks cultural revolutions. We seek original, thought-provoking content that breaks boundaries and ignites discussion.

Submitting to us is easy. Send us an email pitch with the subject line ‘STUDENT PITCH: Your Headline”.

Make sure to introduce yourself and share examples of your work – personal essays, creative writings, blogs, student publications, anything that showcases your voice.

Remember, clarity is key – a concise pitch of no longer than 300 words is your golden ticket.

FAQs

  • We seek diverse, thought-provoking content that challenges the status quo. We appreciate well-researched features, witty op-eds, insightful explainers, and unique cultural critiques. We value unique perspectives that add new insights to ongoing conversations.

  • Unfortunately no. Due to the nature of the work we publish, we only welcome student submissions from university and college students.

  • Our editorial team reviews each submission carefully. If your pitch sparks our interest, we’ll reach out to discuss the next steps. Due to the volume of submissions, it might take a few weeks to hear back from us, but we read every pitch!

  • We generally prefer articles that are well-detailed yet concise. A typical range is between 800 to 1500 words. However, we evaluate each piece on its merit, so if your story demands more length, we're open to considering it.

  • Yes! We celebrate diversity and inclusion and want to include voices from every walk of life. We welcome students from every discipline who have a story to share. Whether you're studying journalism, art, political science, or any other field – if you have a compelling story to tell, we want to hear it.

  • Due to the high volume of submissions, we're unable to provide individual feedback on every pitch. However, if we decide to move forward with your piece, our editorial team will work closely with you to refine and perfect it.
