Emerging alt-pop artist ALANI steps into spring with the release of her tension-driven single “April Showers,” a track that captures the delicate balance between expression and restraint. With a sound filled with raw emotional honesty and deep intensity, ALANI continues to carve out a distinct space as a compelling new voice in the genre.

Born in London and shaped by her French, Lebanese, and Brazilian heritage, ALANI brings a unique perspective to her music, one that informs her deeply personal and emotionally driven songwriting. She began writing songs at just seven years old, later reaching the finals of The Voice Kids UK, before moving to New York to study at NYU’s Gallatin School alongside the Clive Davis Institute. That foundation has helped shape a style that feels raw, unfiltered, and diaristic in its precision.

Following her 2024 singles “Come Back To Me” and “She Ain’t Me,” her new song “April Showers” marks a turning point in her career, bringing a more refined and self-aware sound. The track offers an early glimpse into her forthcoming EP, set to be announced in June, which will explore themes of love and blurred boundaries.

This song perfectly encapsulates the story of one of my toughest relationships in early adulthood… the highs and lows that come with opening your heart up to people, something that I believe is a crucial turning point in one’s life
— Alani

With “April Showers,” ALANI leans into a piano-driven sound, delivering a song that lingers as much for what is left unsaid as for what is revealed. As she continues to develop her voice and vision, ALANI stands poised as an artist to watch, one whose storytelling resonates with intimacy, depth, and quiet power.
